The Role
We’re seeking a Head of Global Technology and Delivery to develop, design, and deliver a technology and digital roadmap, combining strategy, execution, and impact. This is a hybrid role for a leader who thrives at both strategy and hands-on execution. You’ll define our technology vision, pilot new initiatives, and scale digital and technology products internationally.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy: Lead the design and execution of a global technology roadmap, aligning internally on the product roadmap in line with the investment plan.
- Platforms: Build scalable platforms that balance global standardization with local adaptation.
- Oversight: Oversee architecture, data, integrations, and security.
- Team Management: Build and manage a distributed team (in-house or outsourced partners).
- Assessment: Lead technical assessment of build or buy options in support of product strategy.
- Collaboration: Partner with innovation & growth, product marketing, business, and operations leaders to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Representation: Represent technology to investors, partners, and global stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years of related experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in senior technology roles (e.g., Head of Technology, Head/VP Engineering) with multi-country experience.
- Skills:
- Proven track record scaling digital platforms in emerging markets/Global South.
- Experience in a “bootstrapped” environment, including designing and scaling social enterprise models.
- Skilled at balancing executive strategy with hands-on delivery.
- Experienced with mobile-first, cloud-based, and API-driven solutions.
- Mindset: Comfortable building distributed teams and motivated by global health impact.
